An itsy bitsy part of me will always…yeah, i mean Always miss my ’2nd home’ … Hafele (M) Sdn Bhd…

Throughout my life’s career journey…well, not a Long  journey Yet… but long enough to speak a little of it…hehe… there were ups and downs… happy and tough moments…stressful & easy times…

But for the past 2.5 years, have been seeing, smelling, touching, and hearing numbers. well i am in the accounts line for now hehe

Am so blessed to actually have been into a great big family, the Hafele family.It’s a place where challenges are overcome together; it’s a place where colleagues becomes true friends; it’s a place that’s not just your ordinary work office but also a place that you can feel connected to.

With great friends and managers it sort of makes the team good… Thank you & will be missing all of you always… *hugs*

Psst psst…. have got an itsy bitsy confession to make… *ahem* am still not done with Cny 2010 posting – have just a wheee bit to share… anddd… i really do miss yummy glorious homecooked food!!

Was pretty caught up with the new job and could not extend the Cny holidays. But it felt really really good to come home to homecooked goodies. This year, my mummy, lil’ sis & her bf were the chefs!

 Dinner….was superb!

Roasted Chicken, JuHu Char with salad leaves, Otak-Otak, Garlic Prawns, Seaweed soup, Sauteed Mixed Vege & Butter Prawns….Heavenly… Oh and did u mentioned…the Prawns from Sabah were gigantic!!!

Happy very belated Chinese New Year everyone!

Gatherings are like the special-est and important-est part of the CNY celebrations…

Be it with family member or friends or neighbours or new meets, it feels great to see one another and just catch up or even if it’s the typical small talks about how Hot the weather is  that day:P

My itsy bitsy thought… we, the younger generation cannot help but look forward a lot and probably mostly towards the FOOD & Ang Pausssss kekeke… Well it is good to always be honest right? So yeah, who can ever not slurp at the sight and smell of tempting sinful dishes, yummy cookies, sweet bubbly drinks and the ka-ching that comes from people’s hearts inside red packets :P
Plus, what makes CNY a little more different, we’re Malaccan Baba & Nyonyas!

Believing that our home is where the heart is, is not merely just a statement. i think it’s true

Our family members are like instant friends or a bonded tribe that God presents us all from the first they we peeped ‘Hi’ to planet earth. Never having let to be alone to face the world.

It becomes a gift when as we grow and learn much more as time goes by,when we may be blessed with an extended family. A newer bigger family tree to love & respect. A connection that i’ll always cheerish and care for.

In January, we gathered together celebrating our grannies birthdays. And was fortunate enough to celebrate 2 grandmama’s b’days. Not in just one function, but 2. Both events were great! Happy Birthday Ah Mah & PohPoh *muacks*  :)

It’s so very true when people say that it’s easier said than done. Especially when it’s unexpected or just so random that it’s a complete shock to our whole body’s physical & mental system. A complete torture.

Just like as if we have no choice but is forced to just do it or accept it. Forced to go with the flow or some sort.

Wishing at times that we could have a choice to turn back time and just stay that way maybe for a little longer. But nah, life’s not that simple. It ain’t easy, it may be painful and that’s just too bad…

We may be hoping & wishing everyday… and yet not know what the future brings…

So just pray… pray hard… and hope for the best! good luck

It is often amazing how a teeny weeny mistake or misunderstanding ( or i hope it’s just a misunderstanding) can cause a beautifully built castle to crumble down. It is just as if it was made of playing cards that have now been blown down by an ugly puff of wind….

It is sometimes crazy how a short wrong phase ( or i hope it’s just a phase) when a little too much or gets out of hand can cause so much misery and hurt into a tightly bond connection. As if stomping through calm waters of a serene lake.

Life gives us challenges; but life also gives us choices…

We may not be able stop the rain from falling on a lovely afternoon…but we might be able to stop the rain from turning into acid! With an itsy bitsy pinch of hope, patience and perseverance, there will be sunlight once again…

I read a quote once by M.K. Gandhi, “The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” Well hope that the saying really is true that everything happens for a reason…

December was & probably still will be almost like the most busiest, eventful, oh & expensive month of the year.

For the 3rd year now, my family and i have a makan makan session. It’s for the boyz in my family. Coincidentally, the ‘other half’s’ of both my sisters and i are all born within the same month. Slightly different years but they’re still The December babies.

I can’t remember where we had the 2008′s dinner but for this time,2009, we chose to go to New York,New York @ 1u. Wished i actually went to New York, USA but nah…it’s just the restaurant franchise for now. hehe… Anyway, it was everyone’s first time there but Am pretty impressed with the food actually & its pricing isn’t too bad too.

A brightly lighted eatery is a fairly good place to chit chat & share meals (although usually i very much prefer slightly darker cozy places but this place felt alright). Managed to capture shots of a couple of foodies before gorging on them hehe…

So yeah, i’d say New York,New York is an Ok place to meet up for lunchies etc… You should go try it if you have not

i LOVE celebrations…

What excites me the most when flipping through a calendar are the happy red circles over special dates!

Special Birthdays to Valentine’s Day … Graduations to National Independence Day…Weddings to Anniversaries…Deepavali to Hari Raya…Christmas to New Year…& many many more.

Just the tot of being able to have a lil’ celebration altogether whether among family or friends or just within a nation, it brings happiness to me. Oh, And public holidays is an extra plus point of course! haha…

Another happy event that was celebrated recently was my Mum’s Birthday cum family Christmas dinner .

We had a yummy fulfilling slurp-ish spread of Japanese buffet! All of us being huge eaters who simply luv food had a fantastic time. Unfortunately, the restaurant had a rather odd policy of ‘no photography of food servings’.Haha…

Came home with our tummy’s filled with good foodies & with smiles on faces.

We also exchanged Christmas presents. Lots & lots of ‘em! hehehe…

Smiles, Laughter & the spirit of Togetherness…  *sigh* a good good night
